Members-only OFB Intranet
Coming this winter, exclusively for Oregon Farm Bureau members: a password-protected Intranet site!
The OFB Intranet will allow members to enter an assigned password and have complete access to an immense online warehouse of OFB-related information not available on the regular Web site.
Information available only on the OFB Intranet will include:
- Specific directions on how to access membership discount programs, including the necessary I.D. codes, telephone numbers, special promotion details, and more.
- The OFB Policy Book, the bible of the Farm Bureau. Now members can look up policies anywhere they have access to the Web.
- Legislative updates, organized by topic and by lead lobbyist. Stay current on OFB's constant progress toward enacting agriculture-friendly legislation at the state and federal level.
- Issue backgrounders to help members understand the history, relevance, and goals of OFB's political initiatives, which are all based on the expressed interest of OFB member farmers and ranchers.
- Oregon legislator grades, grade explanations, and lists of candidates endorsed by OFB.
- Customizable list serves. Members can indicate what ag-related topics interest them and can sign up to receive news and updates via e-mail specific to those topics.
- OFB's Who's Who, an online version of the annual directory of Farm Bureau leaders and county Farm Bureau contacts.
- Volunteer Leaders' Corner with information on OFB committees, county presidents and leaders, membership information, grassroots initiatives, fundraising strategies, and more.
- FB Country, an AFBF site designed for the benefit of Farm Bureau members. Get AFBF news, visit an online auction, chat with other farmers and ranchers across the country, gain market information, purchase Farm Bureau apparel, and more.
- OFB calendar, listing the dates of county Farm Bureau meetings, board and committee meetings, OFB events, AFBF conferences, OPAC fundraisers, rallies, and more.
- OFB staff contact information, including e-mail, cell, and office phones.
- And much more information of interest to our valued OFB members!
