Clackamas County Farm Bureau supports an informed and educated agricultural industry. In 2012, the Farm Bureau will offer about $15,000 in agricultural scholarships.
A number of scholarships ranging between $1,000 and $3,000 per recipient will be awarded to students pursuing a two- or four-year college degree in agriculture or a related field. The scholarships are available to any Clackamas County high school graduate, resident, or prior scholarship recipient.
The application deadline is March 1, 2012.

Coos-Curry County Farm Bureau offers two $750 scholarships to students pursuing an agriculture or forestry-related career.

> Benton County Farm Bureau offers scholarships
Benton County offers a minimum of one scholarship of $500.
Eligibility: Be currently enrolled or accepted to enroll this year at an accredited school of higher education. The applicant must show how their chosen field relates to or benefits agriculture.

Polk County Farm Bureau offers two $750 scholarships: one for graduating seniors and one for continuing students.

> Umatilla-Morrow County Farm Bureau offers scholarships
Umatilla-Morrow County Farm Bureau will award up to $2,000 in scholarships to high school seniors pursuing further education. Applications are available from high school counselors.
The deadline is April 15, 2012.

> Washington County Farm Bureau offers scholarships
Washington County Farm Bureau offers a variety of scholarships to students from Washington County planning to continue their education.
High school seniors planning to study agriculture, nursing, nurse’s aides, education, diesel mechanics, welding, teacher’s aides, or nursery and greenhouse work at an Oregon school are eligible for $1,000 scholarships.
Scholarships of $2,000 are available for students pursuing degrees at Oregon State University School of Agriculture. Among the requirements are being a junior, senior, or fifth-year student earning a degree in horticulture, soil science, agri-business management, veterinary studies, animal husbandry, or nursery.
The application deadline for all scholarships is April 1, 2012.

Yamhill County Farm Bureau offers scholarships
The Yamhill County Farm Bureau is pleased to assist Yamhill County high school graduates in
pursuit of furthering their education. There will two, one-year scholarships awarded of
$1,500.00 each.
The deadline is August 1, 2012.
