Young Farmers & Ranchers

The OFB’s Young Farmers & Ranchers (YF&R) program is open to ag producers aged 16 to 35.

Develop leadership skills to make a difference for agriculture in the state and national legislature.

Make friends and contacts with other “next generation farmers” from around the state.

Travel around Oregon and the U.S. for Farm Bureau conferences, workshops, and tours.

Compete and test your skills in the state and national Discussion Meet, Achievement Award, and Excellent in Agriculture competition.Participate in local ag events, like the FFA tractor driving contest at the state fair.Help organize the annual YF&R Food Drive, benefiting local food shelters.
