OREGON FARM BUREAU
Women's Advisory Council
The OFB Women’s Advisory Council (WAC) is dedicated to supporting leadership development for women in Farm Bureau and promoting the importance of Oregon agriculture to the general public.
WAC members also offer a legislative workshop at the State Capitol for Farm Bureau members, lawmakers, legislative staffers, and the general public.
Every year, WAC raises money to purchase groceries and fill the pantries of the Ronald McDonald House Charities based in Portland, Springfield, and Bend. Thanks to County Farm Bureau donations and funds raised by WAC activities, about $4,000 worth of groceries is given to Oregon’s three Ronald McDonald Houses annually.
Besides organizing numerous activities at OFB’s Annual Meeting, WAC also offers skill development, leadership training, and travel opportunities for women in Farm Bureau throughout the year.
