The 2025 Oregon Farm Bureau Annual Convention recognized outstanding members and counties whose dedication and service exemplify the best of Oregon agriculture. Here are this year's distinguished award recipients:
County Action Award: Union County Farm Bureau

Union County Farm Bureau received the County Action Award for reviving the annual Ag and Timber Parade after Women in Timber could no longer organize the event. The county board spent two years developing a plan to bring back this important tradition, ultimately bringing together 20 entries spanning production agriculture, timber industry, and supporting businesses. The parade served as the county's most visible public engagement initiative, showcasing agriculture to hundreds of community members and positioning Farm Bureau as a leader in agricultural advocacy.
Outstanding Farm Bureau Woman: Kristie Glaser

Kristie Glaser of Linn County was honored as the 2025 Outstanding Farm Bureau Woman for over 20 years of dedicated service. Her involvement spans county, regional, and state levels, including work with Health and Safety and Ag Education committees, participation in Ag Fest, Women's Advisory Council, and service as State Women's Advisory Chair. She is a graduate of Real Oregon and AFBF's Women's Communication Bootcamp, and currently serves on the Ronald McDonald House subcommittee. Kristie has been coordinator for the Young Farmers and Ranchers FFA Upper Willamette District Tractor Driving contest for nearly 20 years, missing only one event. Her entire family embodies service to agriculture and community.
Legislative Partnership Awards: Senator Christine Drazan and Former Senator Daniel Bonham

Oregon Farm Bureau presented its inaugural Legislative Partnership Awards to Senator Christine Drazan and Former Senator Daniel Bonham for their exemplary leadership, collaboration, and dedication to Oregon's farmers and ranchers during the 2025 legislative session. Through bipartisan cooperation, thoughtful engagement, and commitment to practical solutions, they helped advance policies that strengthen rural communities and support the future of Oregon agriculture.
Senator Drazan, born in Klamath Falls and a graduate of George Fox University, was elected to the Oregon House of Representatives in 2018 and served as House Republican Leader from 2019 to 2021 and again in 2025. Throughout her legislative career, she has consistently elevated the concerns of rural communities, ensuring agriculture and natural resource issues remain prominent in policy discussions. She was instrumental in stopping the proposed Ag Workforce Standards Board and navigating challenging policy fights during the 2025 legislative session.
President's Award: Daniel Bonham

The President's Award was presented to former Oregon State Senator Daniel Bonham in recognition of exceptional contributions to Oregon agriculture. Bonham served in the Oregon Legislature from 2017 to 2025 in varying capacities, most recently as the Senate Minority Leader, and through that time was a stalwart defender of rural Oregon and its priorities. Most recently, Bonham was nominated by President Donald Trump to be the Assistant Secretary of Labor for congressional and intergovernmental affairs on October 2, 2025.
Hall of Fame Award: Larry Duyck

Larry Duyck of Washington County was inducted into the Oregon Farm Bureau Hall of Fame after 35 years of membership. A third-generation farmer who joined Farm Bureau in 1990, Larry has served two terms as a regional representative on the Oregon Farm Bureau board and on multiple committees including Budget, Ag Education, Land Use, and Labor. At the county level, he has served Washington County as president, vice president, and board member since 1995. His broader agricultural involvement includes serving as Oregon Raspberry and Blackberry Commissioner, Chairman of the Washington, Marion, and Clackamas County NW Gas Pipeline Farmland Protection Committee, and active participation in the Tualatin Watershed Council. Larry previously received the Top Hand Award (2009) and Distinguished Service Award (2021).
Hall of Fame Award: Dan and Carol Marie Luethold

Dan and Carol Marie Luethold of Tillamook County were jointly inducted into the Hall of Fame after 36 years of membership. Dan served on the Tillamook Creamery Board from 1989-1999 and has been active with the American Guernsey Association and several Farm Bureau issue advisory committees. Carol Marie made history as the first woman elected Tillamook County Farm Bureau President in 2006, was appointed to the National and Governmental Affairs Committee in 2007, and has served as a regional representative on the Oregon Farm Bureau board since 2014. She is also past president of Oregon Dairy Women and continues serving with Tillamook Working Land and Water. Together, the Luetholds have served on the Tillamook County Farm Bureau board for several decades, representing the grassroots voice of Oregon agriculture to the fullest degree.
